The Multiple Choice question type allows you to customize your rating scale and your surveyees to select more than one answer option.
How to configure a question using Multiple Choice:
Go to Toolbox portlet on the left side of the screen in the survey builder.
Click on Multiple Choice. The question type is populated on the section page.
Click on the question, Configuration portlet displays on the right.
Click on the Required check box if you want to make this question mandatory for the surveyee to complete.
Click Save when you are done with the configuration.
How to configure Answer Options:
Under the Configuration portlet, click on Configure Answer Options.
Response Options portlet displays.
Click add option. Before you add text, make sure you add the total number of options you need first. For example, if you are creating a 3-point rating scale, add 3 options before you enter text.
Once you have added the number of options you need, enter text and the numerical rating associated with each option.
Click Save when you are done with the configuration.
Visibility Logic/Question Logic:
You can configure parent-child question logic using Multiple Choice question type.
The Visibility Logic (question logic) feature allows you to configure additional questions based on respondents' answers. For example, the image below demonstrates when a surveyee selects option Yes, a child question (Suggestions on how we can better support you to be productive remotely:) displays.
Another example would be to have the surveyee specify other when other is selected.
How to configure Visibility Logic/Question Logic:
Click on a new or existing Multiple Choice question.
Click on Configure Visibility Logic.
Click add logic.
Select a response and select a question to associate with.
Click Save.
You can always click X to remove the logic.
