Generally, companies use Work Email to distribute surveys. However, there are cases where not all employees have email addresses assigned to them—for example, frontline employees working in retail, manufacturing, or food production companies. Retainify has created a Personal Email field to distribute surveys to employees who do not have work emails assigned to them.

Please note that it is the employer's responsibility to get consent and use the employee's personal email address.

Personal Email Rules:

  1. When an employee is active, Work Email is blank, and Personal Email is NOT blank, Retainify will distribute surveys via Personal Email.

  2. When an employee is inactive (e.g., terminated) and Personal Email is NOT blank, Retainify will distribute surveys via Personal Email (even when Work Email is NOT blank).
