One of your employees has left your company, but you still want to send them an exit survey. Retainify has created a Personal Email field to distribute surveys to employees who do not have work emails assigned to them.

Please note that it is the employer's responsibility to get consent and use the employee's personal email address.

Personal Email Rules:

  1. When an employee is active, Work Email is blank, and Personal Email is NOT blank, Retainify will distribute surveys via Personal Email.

  2. When an employee is inactive (e.g., terminated) and Personal Email is NOT blank, Retainify will distribute surveys via Personal Email (even when Work Email is NOT blank).

To send exit survey to inactive employees:

  1. Click on Surveys located in the left panel.

  2. Your surveys display.

  3. Locate the survey you would like to send to employees. You can also enter keywords in the Search field to locate your survey.

  4. Click on the icon under Collect.

  5. Click on the Send Survey link.

  6. Check the employees you would like to send the survey to.

  7. Click Send Survey.
